The Bahamas!!

Well, how trip got off to a little rough start. First I go to drop the kids off on Sunday and that night I was sick on the toilet with the flu:) (TMI) The next morning my parents thought it would be best if I left before the kids woke up so that they wouldn't get it. That killed me but I drove home not feeling so hot and missing my kids so much. Then I get home and Nolan comes home from work and he then gets sick with the flu!! With fly out the next morning at 5:45 am and I drug Nolan on that plane:) haha. I then get the call from my mother at the airport and she was sick all night and Dakota got sick for the first time. He was so proud on the phone when he explained that he threw-up!! Well, next up was dad and he got it the next night!! I just want to say thank you for watching the kids and I am so sorry that it had to happen to you guys!! BUT, we did have an awesome trip and are so happy to be home with the kids, enjoy!!

Dakota and Sadi got to find their easter baskets Saturday night! They loved it! It helped change the mood of the day because both my children decided they didn't want to sleep Friday night, well that is not normal for them, so I took them to the doctor and Dakota has a double ear infection and Sadi has an infection in her right ear ( her first cold ever)!! Well, with a little antibiotic in their system they slept for us last night so that was nice:) We went to church this morning and had breakfast at HyVee:) Nolan just has to have those biskets & gravy:) But, I had a little photo op for my sweet peas when we got home today. Enjoy!:)

Dakota turned 3!!!

On Thursday my little baby turned 3!! I can't believe he is no longer my baby. We went to the mall that day so he could play in the play center, then he got prezzel sticks and he also got a special Birthday cookie from Cookies Etc. He was in heaven. We had oreo dessert that night with candles:) Saturday my parents and grandparents came down and stayed with my sister. We all went over there sat night for supper with Sarah & Dan too. Dakota had a pretty good head cold come sunday morning, didn't help that we had our winter blizzard on Sunday putting a damper on Dakota's party but we still had some weather troopers and had a really nice birthday party. I haven't been on my blog in awhile and thought this would be a good time to update and share with you what has been going on in our lives. I have to be honest that the last 3 months have had it's ups and downs:( We have lost 2 angel babies in the past 3 months and as hard as it has been, telling you about my pregnancies now helps me deal with the loss because they were real and they were special. I know that I am not the only one that has gone through this, my heart goes out to all of you that have. My husband and beautiful babies at home have been such wonderful supporters that I sometimes feel guilty for getting emotional. I thank God everyday for Dakota and Sadi, I could not have asked for more special babies. Here are some pictures of my babies, enjoy!

We had her pictures taken 2 weeks early because we had a coupon that was expiring:) But, she did really well and we had Aunt Nikki there to help make her smile. Enjoy the pictures!
