Wordless Wednesday:)

And it is fall!

The leaves are changing and fall is in the air! We love this weather, we were able to make it home to Iowa for a very FAST weekend so the kids could play farmers and I could celebrate my birthday with my family. We got back on track this week and Dakota and Sadi had a mini vacation with Daddy at work in Chattanooga, Tn. They got to go on the steepest train and to Ruby Falls for the day while I stayed home with the babies! Enjoy the pictures and can't wait to see ALL our family over Thanksgiving!!

Dawson Dean Pattee:)

It is hard to believe that our little family has grown by one more AGAIN:) Dawson Dean arrived via C-section on September 9, 2011 at 11:39 am. weighing in at 7 lbs. 1 oz., 20.5 inches long. He is doing swesome, yesterday at one day shy of 3 weeks old he weighed in at 8 lbs. 6 oz.!!!! That would be why I am sitting at my pump right now writing on my blog, he is sleeping, but I had to wake up and get this milk out of me, 14 oz. just came out because the little man just slept from 8:30-2:20 never waking up!! WHoo HOO:)

ANyways, this little guy is a very happy relaxed little man, while is brother next in line is not. Dalton will kiss Dawson if you ask him to, but other then that he wants nothing to do with him! He will pull and swat before he gives Dawson the time of day:) Dakota is a GREAT BIG brother, he helps me out all the time with running up stairs to grab diapers or even sitting down and feeding him, he loves him so much! Sadi is also a good big sister but she still tends to get into his face and growl a lot:)

I am adapting to 4 children really well, the kids are handling me really well too:)! Now that our house is empty my children have calmed down and our schedules are back in working order. Life goes right? Stay tuned for more updates to come!

Enjoy the picture overload!

It's school time!

It's hard to believe that I have two babies in school right now! Dakota started Kindergarten last week, such a big boy!! It is so hard to believe that 5 years ago he was a 5 month old getting a full mouth of teeth and now he goes to school 5 days a week from 8-4pm! He is really liking it, he did told to listen and pay attention a few times last week but after we made his good boy jar (he gets to add a quarter every night he is good) he has been doing much better!! He brought home his first homework last night too! We have his class picnic the week after Baby D is born so it will be fun to see the rest of the kids in his class.

Sadi also started Preschool this week at Jacob's Ladder. She is in the 3 year old program, Tue. Wed. and Thur. morning. SHE LOVES IT!! I was so worried I was going to get a phone call telling me that she just wasn't going to work out, but she is doing awesome. In fact, they went as far as calling her precious!! Which I felt was stretching it a bit:) But everyday this week when I pick her up she whips out all her papers in the van to show me what she has done:)

And Dalton is just getting ready for his new little brother! I think he may take this a little hard so I am getting a little anxious as to how is going to act:( He really is a mommy's boy!

Oh Wow, it's been a LONG time:)

So I guess you could say that I have been slacking a little bit, I think about adding an update all the time and I check my friend's blogs all the time, but don't sit down to do my own:( SOrry! I can honestly say that I have been busy, a good busy:) We went to Iowa for the month of June and the kids had a blast meeting all their new cousins, seeing grandparents, and spending time on the farm. It was nice to be home for awhile, but when we got back to Nashville and walked into the house, it really felt like home:) It is crazy how much of our little family has changed in the past year and 1/2! We have our house to the point where their really is nothing that needs to be done anymore, no big projects. Dakota and Dalton are going to be room buddies once the Baby D gets here so we got a new bunk bed with a twin on top and full on the bottom. Dakota loves it! Dalton will be in a crib for a while, but that doesn't mean he doesn't like to climb to the top too!

Dakota starts Kindergarten next week and I can honestly say I am not ready, yes it will be nice to have one less body to look after once Baby D gets here, but I am going to miss my little lover boy, he is such a sweet boy! But, he is ready and will be riding the bus in the morning for 15 min. and at night for 15 min. so we will see how that goes! Dakota also started football 2 weeks ago and what a time consuming little sport here in the south! If he didn't like it so much we wouldn't be doing it because he now has practice 2 nites a week for 2 hours!!!! They won their first tournament this past weekend which he was pretty excited about!

Sadi will be starting 3 year old preschool in 2 weeks and can't stop talking about it! We did a couple week camps that were all morning long this summer to get her ready to be dropped off and left and she did great! First time getting dropped off and she had no problems. So we will keep you posted to how she does with her rules at preshool:) Sadi also starts dance again in a couple of weeks, which will be on Fri. mornings. We asked if she wanted to do soccer or dance and dance won out in the end!

Dalton is a momma's boy. What can I say but he loves me a lot:) AND, he is really going to have a hard time once Baby D comes because even now when I hold his cousins and the neighbors little guy he gets mad!!! He is also our first big guy in the family, Dakota is just average across the board. Sadi is getting there, 50% for height and 25% for weight. BUT Dalton was in the 85% for height and 35% for weight!! OH, I also forgot that yes his head is big too (90%):) He is finally walking and liking it more everyday.

Baby D is doing really well! He is in the 60% right now and the ultrasound tech. informed me that he has a lot of hair that she can see, so be expecting a mullet when he comes out!!! I have appt. twice a week right now until the end. I have an ultrasound to check his blood flow and a stress test everyweek. My lovenox dose goes down next week and then I will stop the lovenox completely 4 days before c-section. The c-section is scheduled for Sept. 9 at 8:30 am check-in time and I am counting down the days:) Everything a out and ready, I have the bottles in the cupboard, the pump on the countertop and with new attachements, the pack-n-play set up in our room with all the changing goods, and his clothes are all cleaned:) Just need to pack a diaper bag for the hospital and I am good to go! Mom is coming on Sept. 7-18 (Dad is coming out the 15-18) which will be a blessing and then Nolan's mom is coming out Sept. 21-25! BUT, our door is always open the family and friends that want to meet the little guy, don't be shy!

Nolan is keeping himself busy busy with work but I think we might go to the Williamson County fair tonight when he gets home! Have a good one and talk to you all soon! Enjoy the pics!
